VibeRead AI (“the App”, “we”, “us”) helps you analyze conversation screenshots with the help of artificial intelligence. This policy explains what data we process, how, and your choices. We designed the App to be privacy-first.

Your screenshot never leaves your device. When you select a screenshot, the text is read on your device and personal details (names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses) are masked on your device before anything is sent to our servers. The image itself is never uploaded and is deleted right after reading.

1. Information We Process

Anonymous account ID. We create an anonymous account (via Firebase Authentication) so we can keep your token balance and analyses. We do not require your name, e-mail, or phone number.
Masked conversation text. Only the masked text of your conversation (personal data removed on-device) is sent to our servers to generate the AI analysis. The original screenshot is not sent.
Analysis results. The generated summary and premium insights are stored on our servers (Google Firebase / Firestore) linked to your anonymous ID, and a copy of your recent analyses is stored locally on your device.
Purchases. In-app purchases (token packs) are handled by Apple. We receive a purchase confirmation (via RevenueCat) to credit your tokens. We never see your card details.
Advertising identifiers. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob may use your device advertising identifier to serve ads.
Diagnostics. Basic, aggregated crash/usage data may be collected to keep the App stable.

2. How We Use Your Information

To read and analyze the conversation you submit and return insights to you.
To manage your token balance, purchases, and rewarded tokens.
To operate, secure, and improve the App.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following providers, each with their own privacy policy:

Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google Gemini API (AI analysis of the masked text) — ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms
RevenueCat (purchase validation) — revenuecat.com/privacy
Google AdMob (rewarded ads) — policies.google.com/privacy
Apple (in-app purchases) — apple.com/legal/privacy

4. Data Retention

Analyses linked to your anonymous ID are kept until you delete the App or request deletion. Locally stored analyses remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.

5. Your Rights

You can request access to or deletion of the data linked to your anonymous ID by contacting us at the address below. Because accounts are anonymous, please contact us from the device you use so we can identify your data.

6. Children

The App is intended for users aged 17 and older and is not directed to children.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with our providers’ security controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. International Transfers

Our providers may process data on servers located in the European Union and other regions. By using the App you consent to such processing.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
